RecapybaraCookies at Recapybara

We keep this short because there is not much to say. Recapybara uses three small cookies to work, and nothing else unless you switch it on yourself.
The website (recapybara.com)
The website sets no cookies. Your language is in the address (/fr/ or /en/), and the buttons that open the app carry it along, nothing more.

Three cookies that make the app work
These do not need your consent under the rules that apply to us (the ePrivacy directive and the CNIL’s guidance): each one does something you asked for, and none of them identifies you to anyone else or follows you to other sites. We tell you about them here and under the sign-in form.

All three stay on app.recapybara.com, are sent only over https, and are never shared with anyone.
Two things you can switch on, and their cookies
Recapybara can measure how it is used, and can record a replay of your screens, to see where it gets in the way. Both are off until you switch them on. We ask you once, on your first visit to Home, and you can change your mind any time in You under Your data. Until you switch one on, nothing is loaded and nothing is set: no script, no cookie, no request leaves your device for this purpose.
When you switch one on, the app loads PostHog, an analytics service we run through our own address (e.recapybara.com) on servers in the European Union, and it sets:

What each switch sends:
- Product analytics: which screens you use and how long processing takes. No lecture text, no names.
- Session replay: a replay of your screens. Anything you type and the words of your lectures are hidden before the replay leaves your device. It helps us see where the app gets in the way.
When you switch one off, the app removes PostHog’s cookie and storage on the next page you open, and sends nothing further.
What we do not do
- No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers, no cookies from social networks.
- Nothing follows you to other sites, and nothing from other sites reaches us.
- We do not sell or share anything a cookie holds.
Changing your mind, and deleting
- The two switches are in the app under You, then Your data.
- Signing out removes
recap_s. Clearing your browser’s cookies removes all of them; the app will simply ask your language and theme again. - To delete your account and everything with it, write to us at the address in the app; we remove your data and your files, and we say what we removed.
